Dr. Stephan P. Krotz, M.D.
Dr. Krotz is an internationally recognized physician and researcher most well-known for creating the first Artificial Human Ovary, recognized as a Top 10 Medical Breakthrough of 2010 by Time Magazine. He became interested in Fertility & Reproduction while studying Genetics at the University of California, Davis. His desire to use science to help women have healthy children led him to pursue a Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He came to the Baylor College of Medicine to pursue a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Brown University where he completed his groundbreaking research. After working in both the academic setting and in the private setting with the Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA), the most renowned fertility group in the United States, Dr. Krotz decided to bring his expertise and compassionate care to patients directly at the Fertility & Genetics Institute in Houston. He is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists.
