Sperm Freezing

Freezing sperm is a straightforward way to preserve a male patient’s fertility for future use due to medical or personal reasons. A male patient should abstain from intercourse 2 to 3 days before providing a sample for freezing (cryopreservation). It is recommended that male patients freeze at least 2 to 3 samples if they are undergoing treatment for cancer or if they will not be immediately available for fertility treatments for their partner.
